The death has occurred of Johnny Flynn, Cashel Park, Castlerea, and formerly of Corrigeenroe, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Ex Telecom Eireann - 4th February 2022, (peacefully) in the exceptional care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his baby grandson John and sister Patricia. Johnny will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mary, daughters Sinead Tully (Castlerea), and Aine Considine (Limerick), son Sean (Strokestown), brothers Seamus, Denis, Paddy and Martin, sisters Brigid and Mary, his adored grandchildren Emily, Jonathon and their mother Colette, Matthew, Ethan, Senan, Ruadh, Lucy, Michael, Sheena and Darragh, sons-in-law Nial and Connie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5pm until 7.30pm on Sunday evening (walk-through only). Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Monday. Burial afterward in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish to attend, but cannot, Johnny’s Funeral Mass can be viewed on Gaynors Funeral Directors Facebook page on Monday morning.
