LEONARD, Bea (Beatrice), (née Kilbride), Cashel Park, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Churchtown, Dublin 14 and Dunshaughlin – 11th December 2021, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff of Arás Mathair Phoil, Castlerea with her son Seán Óg (Seánnie) holding her hand after a long tiresome battle with Alzheimer's Disease, that included a lot of laughs, mixed with some tears. Predeceased by her husband Murt in 2010.
She will forever be fondly remembered for her successful career in the following establishments - Royal Tavern (Top House), Dunshaughlin, The Blue Lion, Parnell Street, the one & only Dawson Lounge, Dawson Street, The South William, South William Street, The Pavilion (The Pav) Trinity College and Mount Carmel Hospital.
Bea will be sadly missed by her loving son Seánnie, brother Patrick (Ted) and his wife Kay (Birmingham), Sean's partner Rabii Fadil (Agadir), her niece Cindy, cousin Joe Egan and his wife Breege, her lifelong friend of 64 years Pauline O'Malley (Howth), along with Kathleen McInerney, Bridget O'Mahony, Daisy Shevlin, José Sánchez and the Sancheq Rodrígeuz Beaneays families of Madrid, her great carer Francie Flanagan, many friends in Lanzarote and Morocco and her beloved dog Leo (Doo-Dah).

Bea will be reposing at Gaynor's Funeral Home, Castlerea from 6pm to 7pm on Wednesday evening. A funeral service will follow a brief viewing at The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin at 3.15pm on Thursday. The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed by clicking HERE
Flowers if desired are welcome - no lillies by request. Alternatively, donations can be made to Bea's favourite Dog Charities c/o Gaynor's Funeral Directors.
