The death has occurred of ANNE (Nancy) MALONE (nee KAVANAGH), Castlerea, Co.Roscommon and formerly of Knockanillo, Ballina, Co. Mayo. 2nd May 2020. In her 103rd year, peacefully in the wonderful care of the Staff of Aras Mhathair Phoil Nursing Home. Pre-deceased by her husband Michael and her sons Colm and Noel. Much-loved mother of Brendan (Drogheda), Paschal (Dundalk), Mary (Cork), Declan (Celbridge) and Kevin (Lusk). Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren and their partners, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

In keeping with current Government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place on Monday, 4th May and a celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date. Nancy’s final journey to her resting place will take place immediately after 11am Mass on Monday via New Road, down Church Road and travelling up St. Patrick's Street past her home then on to St. Joseph’s Cemetery
